Adobe Creative Suite Production Studio (later CS2 Production Premium) was released, bundling Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Audition, and for the first time, Adobe Media Encoder as a standalone application.

Significance

This marked AME's formal debut as a separate, background-processing capable application, fundamentally changing how video professionals managed their export workflows by allowing concurrent editing and encoding.
