First Internal Release of MySQL

Michael Widenius completes the first internal version of MySQL, rewriting the previous UniSQL code and integrating it with his new low-level Mimer SQL interface. This initial version was purely for their own internal use.

Significance

Marks the actual birth of MySQL as a functional database, born out of practical necessity rather than academic research.
