Founding of Codership Oy

Alexey Yurchenko, Seppo Jaakola, and Sakari Poussa established Codership with the explicit goal of developing a robust, synchronous replication solution for MySQL.

Significance

This marked the formal beginning of the Galera Cluster project and the commitment of its founders to solve a long-standing database challenge.
