Internal Cloudera Project 'Mesa' Begins

A small team at Cloudera, led by Todd Lipcon, began work on a new storage system designed to bridge the gap between OLTP and OLAP workloads within the Hadoop ecosystem, internally codenamed 'Mesa'.
