Java Language Introduced
Sun Microsystems officially announced the Java programming language at SunWorld '95. This marked the birth of the foundational technology for Java EE.
Significance
Without Java, there would be no Java EE or Jakarta EE. Its platform-independent promise was the bedrock upon which enterprise Java was built.
