Kubernetes 1.0 Release

Google officially released Kubernetes 1.0, establishing it as a production-ready, open-source container orchestration system. This marked a significant milestone, setting the stage for widespread adoption.

Significance

This event provided the foundational technology that Alibaba Cloud would later build ACK upon. Without a stable, open-source Kubernetes, a managed service offering would have been far more challenging or even impossible.
