Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2005 RTM

The initial Release to Manufacturing of Team Foundation Server, Microsoft's first integrated Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) solution. It brought together source control (Team Foundation Version Control - TFVC), work item tracking, and build automation.

Significance

This marked Microsoft's serious entry into the ALM space, providing a unified platform for enterprise development teams struggling with fragmented tools and processes. It laid the foundation for all future iterations.
